Audrie Siew

Audrie Siew has a degree in Law before going on to obtain her Graduate Diploma and Masters in Social Work. Coming from a diversity of experiences in strategic planning and customer care, she joined the Ministry of Social and Family Development (then, the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports) in 2006 as a Senior Assistant Director in Strategic Planning and Information Resources. During her stint in MSF, she pioneered the Vocational and Reintegration Support Unit for youth offenders and other at-risk youths and oversaw the public education for the prevention of family violence. She was subsequently appointed as the first ever Director of Children in Care service in 2013 in which she oversaw the out of homecare sector in Singapore and drove transformative initiatives to enable quality care for vulnerable children and youth. Her other positions included overseeing preventive programmes such as early-risk marriage and divorce support services for families, as well as secretariat supporting a committee of Members of Parliament for the review of the Maintenance of Parents Act.
She is currently the Executive Director of Children and Youth group in The Salvation Army, Singapore and oversees a diversity of services across the continuum of prevention, care and reunification. Kids in Play (KIP) is one key service that supports children and families who have at least 1 incarcerated parent. KIP will celebrate its 24th anniversary this year and has supported thousands of children and families.
