The presentation aims to add to the theoretical discussion, bridging the victimology and criminology gap. Most discourse within rehabilitation and detention fail to consider the role of harm, to both the offender and victim, that results from the offense. The presentation will use the Netherlands as a case study to understand where the opportunities and challenges lie.
