Jail Officer/ City Jail Warden, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippines

Jail Chief Inspector Aris Williamere A Villaester, PhD, embarked on his journey in law enforcement at a young age, joining the Philippine National Police Academy in 2004. Graduating in 2008, he began his tenure with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), where he has since held various esteemed positions across administrative units.

 

With unwavering dedication, Villaester rose through the ranks, assuming roles such as deputy warden and, ultimately, warden. Currently serving as the jail warden of Lipa City Jail Male Dormitory in Batangas, Philippines, he oversees operations with a commitment to excellence and public safety.

 

Villaester's exemplary service has garnered international, national, and local acclaim. He has been honored with numerous prestigious awards, including the Humanitarian Heroic Noble Peace Prize Award for his outstanding civic service. Recognized as a beacon of hope and a model dignitary, he has received accolades such as the Heroic Heritage Ambassador for Humanitarian Hope Giver.

 

His contributions extend beyond borders, as evidenced by his representation of the BJMP at international conferences and gatherings, such as the International Corrections and Prison Association (ICPA) AGM and Conference in Antwerp, Belgium.

 

Consistently lauded for his exceptional leadership, Villaester has been repeatedly recognized as the Most Outstanding Jail Warden of the Year by Gawad Pilipino, earning the Dangal ng Kawal ng Bayan award for four consecutive years. His accolades also include the Philippine Golden Eagle Awards and the World Council Excellence Awards Ministry Inc., among others. Villaester's resolute public service commitment attests to his enduring societal dedication.
