This presentation explores how Justice Health NSW is transforming custodial healthcare through digital innovation, cultural reform, and service redesign. As the first organisation in NSW to implement the Epic Single Digital Patient Record, Justice Health NSW has undertaken significant system-wide change across custodial and forensic health settings. Presenters will share lessons from digital transformation, strengthening Aboriginal health and culturally safe care, improving organisational culture and psychological safety, and redesigning primary care and women’s health services. The session highlights how partnerships, leadership, and patient-centred innovation can improve continuity of care, workforce capability, and health outcomes for vulnerable populations within the justice system.
