Working toward a consistently humane correctional environment and one that reflects life in the free world, Lana Sandas and Andrew Dye‐ leads of CoreCivic’s normalization think tank, Project Vista- will share their journey of adapting and trialing key normalization design principles in secure and reentry facilities across America.
Through ongoing collaboration with current residents, the formerly incarcerated, and international designers and thought leaders, a spectrum of change, ranging from cosmetic type upgrades to radical re-design and construction, will be shared as well as resident and staff feedback.
