Ms. Akello Dorine is a researcher with the Uganda Prisons Service. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Justice. She has served 13 years in training at the Prisons Academy and Staff College and 7 years in research, where her roles have included staff capacitiy building, conducting policy and program evaluations, offender rehabilitation studies, criminological research, and justice system assessments. Through these roles, she has developed extensive expertise in correctional training, justice systems, and offender rehabilitation. Dorine is passionate about advancing social justice and promoting a balanced society for vulnerable individuals and communities through contributing to research-driven -based policies and correctional initiatives that foster positive societal impact.
