The Niğde Probation Directorate carries out self-employment projects aimed at supporting the reintegration of offenders into society. These initiatives focus on equipping individuals with entrepreneurial skills to promote economic independence and reduce the risk of reoffending. Through vocational training, participants are empowered to establish their own businesses and generate sustainable income. This not only helps strengthen their ties with the community but also enhances their social inclusion.
In addition to individual rehabilitation, these projects contribute to the labour market and aim to improve the overall welfare of society. As part of our successful practice, the directorate has supported initiatives in areas such as advertising signage, roofing systems, hairdressing, tailoring, cattle and sheep farming, as well as strawberry and salep cultivation. Furthermore, partnerships with public institutions through formal protocols play a vital role in sustaining and expanding these efforts.
