“Tony is Chair of the EuroPris Real Estate expert Group and Head of Infrastructure & Asset Management for the Northern Ireland Prison Service.
Tony spent the first half of his career as a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor employed by a number of leading Consultants and Contractors, delivering projects for public and private sector clients across a range of different sectors (including Commercial, Health, Education,Telecommunications and Civic) throughout the UK and Ireland, He also provided strategic procurement advice to local authorities, Government Departments and PPP consortia.
Tony’s role with the Northern Ireland Prison Service has included delivery of the ‘Project of the Year – at the Northern Ireland Constructing Excellence Awards - and a number of organisational change programmes to modernise and reform the functioning and operation of the prisons. Tony is also the Prison Service’s Sustainability lead, which has seen the organisation play a leading role within Government on reducing their carbon emissions (resulting in a 49% reduction in. CO² emissions across the prison estate from a 2016/17 baseline) and advancing their broader response to sustainability and biodiversity loss”.
