Parallel Workshops
In this presentation we focus on the experiences of a befriending project in Flanders, Bridge Inside Outside. Within this project volunteers, in close collaboration with professionals, provide support to people released from prison. We elaborate on the role of the professional social worker to support the volunteers and to tackling problems of poverty, structural barriers and stigma.
