An Open-Access Approach to Reentry Services is a presentation that describes a unique perspective on reentry services. Rather than envisioning reentry as a time-limited aftercare intervention, this model is responsive to when clients need intervention. This open-access approach is examined empirically by comparing outcomes of a treatment and intent-to-treat sample. Differences in recidivism rates will be reviewed, as will the importance of examining data by risk. Implications for the model will be discussed.
