11am – 11.30am EDT, 25 April 2024 ‐ 30 mins

Room: Meeting Room 9

Parallel Workshops

This panel aims to describe the advantages of modular construction in the delivery of justice projects where rapid project delivery is a critical project criterion, in addition to resolving logistics of isolated locations, and/or mitigating labour challenges.  The panel will also demonstrate the efficacy of modular construction in meeting the complex technical and security requirements of justice facilities, specifically correctional and law enforcement facilities, while simultaneously creating sustainable, humane and normative environments conducive to rehabilitation. Attendees will receive a fulsome understanding of modular construction, both technically and logistically, as well as its suitability for international correctional applications.
