Network Session
A one-hour Healthcare Network meeting comprising two 30-minute segments: Professor Stuart Kinner will lead discussion on endorsement and practical use of the Prison Health Data Consensus Statement, followed by Jayne O’Keefe’s introduction to EMPOWER and discussion of digital health and wellbeing in correctional settings.
Ivan Calder is Chief Executive Officer of Health through Walls (HTW). With over 20 years of experience in corrections, healthcare delivery, and justice administration, Ivan has dedicated his career to advancing health and human dignity under the guiding principle that “All people are of value.”
He has held leadership roles across Europe, Australasia, Africa, and the Caribbean, including international assignments with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the United Nations, bringing a unique global perspective to correctional health. As chair of the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) Health Network, Ivan has influenced policy and practice worldwide.
Through HtW’s international development programs, Ivan integrates global expertise with innovation, building sustainable, culturally responsive systems that advance health equity, justice, and human rights in some of the world’s most underserved environments.
