Andrew Dye is Senior Director of Project Development at CoreCivic and leads Project Vista, an initiative redefining justice facility design to foster rehabilitation and successful reentry. Andrew brings expertise in strategic planning and real estate development, guiding projects that integrate evidence-based principles such as normalization, biophilia, carceral geography, and trauma-informed design. His work spans incremental improvements to large-scale transformations, informed by global best practices and collaboration with operators, architects, academics, innovators, and individuals with lived experience. Andrew also provides enterprise-wide real estate guidance across a 16-million-square-foot portfolio, partnering with community leaders and industry providers to solve complex challenges through innovative, human-centered solutions.
Holding a B.S. in Environmental GIS from Samford University and an M.S. in Geography from the University of Tennessee, Andrew combines a background in environmental science with leadership in correctional real estate. His approach emphasizes the connection between people and place, creating environments that promote dignity and positive outcomes.
