Jordanian prison authorities launched an e-store that empowers prisoners to sell their products which have been made inside the prisons with in training programs to achieve a financial return makes them get involved once again in modern labor market after they released.

Mahmoud has more than 10 years of experience in the field of correction and rehabilitation. During his career as a director for many rehabilitation and correction centers, he has performed the following responsibilities:

1. Led the development and implementation of strategies related to strengthening all aspects of the correction systems, through advising, coaching, and mentoring the national staff in line with applicable international standards.

2. Assessed training needs and participated in the preparation of training and development strategies and implementation plans.

3. Ensured effective relationships with civil society representatives (including counterparts in the Ministry of Justice and/or other relevant Ministries, the court system, women’s groups, non-governmental organizations, UN specialized agencies and donors).

4. Drafted correction-related project proposals and oversee the implementation of these projects and programs.

5. Advised on good prison practices and procedures, including the management of critical operational and security issues, and the rehabilitation of infrastructure.
