Thematic Workshop Sessions

Psychological harassment (mobbing) is more commonly observed in correctional institutions due to factors such as continuous communication with inmates, hierarchical systems, and social isolation. In this context, strong psychological resilience is crucial for the job satisfaction, productivity, and well-being of the staff. The study aimed to evaluate the psychological resilience of 400 correctional institution employees against psychological harassment. Participants completed a demographic form, the "Psychological Bullying Questionnaire", and the "Psychological Resilience Scale". The results showed a strong correlation between psychological harassment and job stress, emphasizing the importance of enhancing psychological resilience in high-stress professions for improved job satisfaction and productivity.
