The reintegration of detainees is complex and requires complex solutions. In Flanders and Brussels, the reintegration of detainees is organized by the Flemish network “Assistance and social services”. With a multi-agency approach and a multidisciplinary organization, the existing aid and services in society are imported intramuros (import model). Through different policy domains (welfare, sports, culture, employment, education and health), we try to focus on a succesful reintegration. The presentation will outline the import and network model in Flanders and Brussels.
