Parallel Workshops
The presentation discusses ongoing doctoral research carried out in Brazil with women released from prison, in which we aimed to develop and validate educational material with health guidelines for women released from prison. We designed a multimethodological study with a qualitative approach, with the aim of identifying needs, understanding the narratives of women about the experience of imprisonment, the marks they carry. The importance of materials within the scope of health education is discussed to increase the literacy of these women based on the language and perception they have.
