Tey Hock Soon is the Deputy Director of the Inmates Management Division (Vocational and Industry Section). He holds a BA (Hons). Tey joined the service in 2000 and has held various positions, including Commandant of Tanah Merah Imigresen Depot, Director of Keningau Henry Gurney School, Pahang State Parole Director, Remand Penang and Perlis Prison Director, Deputy Director of Parole and Community Services Division, and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Inmates Management Division at the Malaysian Prison Headquarters.
