ICPA Annual Conference 2024

What is the Yellow Ribbon Project and the Prison Run? The Yellow Ribbon Project (YRP) is a movement in Singapore that strives to build a more inclusive society by creating awareness of giving ex-offenders a second chance in life, generating acceptance of ex-offenders in the community, and inspiring community action to support their rehabilitation and reintegration, so that ex-offenders can contribute and pay it forward to society. The Yellow Ribbon Prison Run is an annual flagship event of the YRP, which aims to mobilise the community and raise funds. The funds will go towards supporting rehabilitation programmes for inmates, ex-offenders, and their families. Join Us in the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2024! The YRP will be celebrating its 20th anniversary of giving second chances in 2024. In conjunction with the ICPA Annual Conference 2024, which will be held in Singapore, we invite you to save the date and join us for the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run on 1 September 2024! ICPA 2024 delegates who are interested to join the run are encouraged to arrive in Singapore by Saturday afternoon (31 August 2024) to ensure sufficient rest for the run the next morning (which will tentatively flag off between 7am to 8am). More details will be shared in due time. Experience the spirited mobilisation of the international and local communities, with everyone coming together to run or walk for a common cause. Let’s raise awareness, generate acceptance and inspire action to support our ex-offenders!
