Nancy Poirier completed her bachelor degree in Criminology at University of Montreal in 1997. She has been working for Correctional Service of Canada for the past 20 years, mainly with the sexual offender population. She has delivered correctional interventions to high risk and high need offenders for more than a decade and thereafter delivered training to correctional program officers in the Quebec region. She has worked at CSC National Headquarters for 6 years being mainly involved in the development, implementation and staff training of the ICPM sex offender programs, multi-target programs and adapted programs. She is currently the Executive Director at the Regional Treatment Center in Quebec region, a mental health multi-level security institution.
