Dr, Francis Omane-Addo is a trained professional Prisons Officer and project management expert with 30 years progressive experience in public and private sectors administration and management at the senior management positions at the national and international levels. At the national level Francis has held several managerial and command positions including the Director of Prisons in charge of Agriculture, Welfare, Human Resource and Technical; Head of Planning, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit; Commanding Officer; Chief Criminal Record Officer; and Deputy Chief Agricultural Officer, all at Prisons Headquarters.

At the international level, Francis has worked with United Nations Mission in Liberia as a Correctional Advisor/Mentor/Team Leader and as Project Manager for World Bank Human Security programme for Liberia and Sierra Leone with Action On Armed Violence, a British NGO and as National Project Coordinator in charge of Food Aid and Food Security under the Ebola Recovery Programme in Liberia with ZOA-Liberia, a Netherlands NGO.

Currently Dr. Omane-Addo is the Deputy Director General of Prisons in charge of Operations and the Principal Officer of African Correctional Services Association (ACSA).
