Dr. Hüseyin ŞIK is a jurist who graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law, earning his master's and doctorate degrees. He began his career as a public prosecutor in 2007 and appointed as judge to the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses/MoJ/Türkiye in 2015. He played a key role in international penal projects within the Foreign Relations Department. In 2021, he was appointed Head of Rehabilitation and Reintegration, and in 2024, Head of the Probation Department. Dr. Şık has presented on radicalization and terrorism at international conferences and has authored books and peer-reviewed articles on criminal law.
