Coming from the air travel sector, Bryan found his true calling when he commenced his journey with Yellow Ribbon Singapore as a Career Coach. Working closely with community partners and stakeholders, he provides employment support and career guidance to ex-offenders released from prisons. He subsequently took on the role of team leader where he develops newer coaches in navigating the challenges faced by ex-offenders and promoting career growth. Bryan was also at the forefront when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the employment landscape of Singapore, causing widespread uncertainty to the job stability of ex-offenders. Through their continuous efforts, the team ensured that a high majority of ex-offenders retained their employment through the pandemic.
Today, Bryan and team are venturing into new initiatives with the goal of reducing recidivism through enhanced career conversations and promoting long term career mobility for ex-offenders.
