Registration is now open for the 7th World Congress on Probation and Parole in Bali

Registration and call for papers have officially opened for the 7th World Congress on Probation and Parole (WCPP), scheduled for April 14-17, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia. This prestigious biennial event brings together the world's foremost experts in community-based justice systems.

Under the theme "Getting Smart on Justice: Healing Hearts & Safer Societies," the 2026 Congress aims to explore innovative approaches to restorative and inclusive justice practices that balance rehabilitation with public safety.

"Bali will provide not just a stunning backdrop for this important gathering, but a symbolic location where Eastern and Western justice philosophies can meet," said a spokesperson for the organizing committee. "We're expecting record attendance as the global community looks toward more effective and compassionate approaches to probation and parole."

The Congress, previously hosted in global hubs including London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney, Ottawa, and The Hague, will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers from around the world.

Organizers are now accepting proposals for sessions, presentations, and case studies that align with the Congress theme. Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, practical application, and potential impact on the field.

"This is a unique opportunity for professionals to share their expertise on an international stage," noted the spokesperson. "We're particularly interested in evidence-based approaches that have demonstrated success in rehabilitation and reintegration efforts."

Early registration discounts are available through December 2025. Complete details regarding registration, accommodation, proposal submission guidelines, and deadlines can be found on the official Congress website at www.wcpp2026.id.
