Season's Greetings from the ICPA President

 

My very best wishes for the Festive Season and a prosperous 2022 to you, your families and as applicable your staff. Thank you so much for the continued support of ICPA and commitment to many of our virtual events during the year. Again, everyone adapted fast and proactively to the continued challenges presented by the pandemic, and as a result, we had a number of informative and successful events and continued networking between members and with other corrections professionals. Importantly, our virtual conference was a great success with over 900 persons being registered, some 75 speakers and participants from over 60 countries. This motivated us to start work on future concepts for virtual and hybrid events while of course, we are looking forward to coming back together in person in Orlando, Florida next October.

 

My particular thanks go to our Executive Team, throughout 2021 they again worked under difficult circumstances and continue to be the ‘backbone’ of ICPA. I also thank the Board, Committees, Networks, Taskforces and Sponsors for their engagement and contributions.

 

Once again, on behalf of ICPA, I wish you a most peaceful and relaxing time as we welcome the new year in the hope that it will give all of us continued normalisation and a return to what we all enjoy when we get together at our annual conference in October to learn about the important developments in Corrective Services and Prisons.
