Louise Kelly is the Deputy CEO & Head of National Services and Development at OARS Community Transitions, having worked, across all divisions and services, in a wide variety of roles prior. Through both study and experience, Louise has extensive knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system, offending and victimisation, Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence, reintegration and rehabilitation of offenders, impact on families and those they have caused harm to.
Louise has qualifications in Justice & Society, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Mediation, and an MBA. She was awarded a 2016 Churchill Fellowship to research initiatives for reducing recidivism, through supported reintegration and rehabilitation. Louise is member of the Embolden SA Board, SA’s peak body for domestic, family, and sexual violence, and the Secretary of the SA Churchill Fellows Association.

April Long, CEO at SMART Recovery Australia, is a pioneering advocate for harm reduction and systemic support in addiction. Their community-centred, personal commitment stems from family experiences with addiction and incarceration.
As a former lawyer, not for profit leader, First Nation Australian with lived experience, April is renowned for leading informed, rich and solution-focused discussions on addiction, Indigenous affairs, mental health.
and LGBTIQ issues from a personal, systematic and professional perspective.
With a background in Law and Arts, April has made a lasting impact on not-for-profits and social enterprises like Shine for Kids and The Smith Family. They are a prominent LGBTQIA+ figure and have
held significant roles in organisations like the First Nations Foundation, National Centre of Indigenous Excellence and Foundation for Young Australians.
