Ameenul Abdullah K S is an Assistant Professor in Criminology at Nehru Arts and Science College, India specializing in Forensic Psychology. With extensive experience in international academic forums, he has represented India at prestigious events such as the BRICS International Symposium, the 7th BRICS International School in Moscow, and the World Youth Festival in Sochi. Ameen’s research explores the complex pathways into criminal behavior, focusing on the victim-turned-offender paradigm. His current study in the Kerala Women’s Jail investigates the impact of trauma and socio-economic vulnerabilities on women's journeys to incarceration, using a mixed-methods approach to uncover socio-psychological dimensions of crime.

Ameen has earned recognition for his impactful research, securing the Best Paper Award at the BRICS International Symposium for his work on drug trafficking. His research interests include human trafficking, juvenile delinquency, and trauma-informed practices. Passionate about developing innovative and evidence-based criminal justice solutions, Ameen actively collaborates on international initiatives for crime prevention.
