ICPA Antwerp 2023

The ICPA Annual Conference 2023 is an event that should not be missed by anyone interested in corrections and the justice system. The conference, which is hosted by the Belgian Prison Service, will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from October 22-27, at the Hilton Old Town.
The theme of the conference is "Humane Corrections: What more can we do".   • Full Conference Pass (Members) - $1100
  • Full Conference Pass (Non-Members) - $1175
We also have group discounts available - $975 (for a group of 10 people).
What can you expect from your ticket?
The Full Conference Pass includes access to all sessions and refreshments (Morning coffee break, Lunch, and Afternoon coffee break) from Monday to Thursday. In addition, your ticket provides you with evening events on Sunday (Welcome Reception, Hors d'Oeuvres), Monday (Host Reception Dinner), and Wednesday (Gala Dinner).
Prison visits are also available on Friday 27 October 2023. Spaces are limited and a ticket does not secure a prison visit.


Located in the heart of Antwerp city centre, the ICPA2023 conference will be held at the Hilton Old Town.

Facility Visits

The Belgian Prison Service has arranged facility visits to Prison of Beveren, Prison of Hasselt, Prison of Dendermonde, Prison of Haren, Forensic Psychiatric Centre Antwerp, Prison of Leuze-en-Hainaut and Prison of Ittre. For those staying on after the conference you can indicate which facility you would like to visit when registering online for this event, but please note that this is not a booking - you can only sign-up at the venue please note that spaces are limited.

Visa Requirements

If you're traveling to Antwerp from outside of Europe, make sure to check the visa requirements for entering Belgium. All the information regarding visa applications is available on the website of the Immigration Office of the FPS Home Affairs


If you are flying to Brussels, you have three options to get to Antwerp: taxi, bus, and train. Find detailed directions from the Brussels Airpirt to the the Hilton Old Town Hotel below.
